The building plot is a steep, terraced terrain falling towards the northeast. To the north, a spectacular 180° view opens out onto the sea and the city of Koper. Due to the direction of the view and the opposite direction of insolation, the shape and orientation of the building were a key challenge for this project.

A narrow building with an elongated shape allowed us to provide all rooms with natural light and quality views, while ensuring the best utilization of the terraced terrain.

The clean form of the house and the layout of the windows finds inspiration in the local typology. The apparently random layout of the windows is characterized by a large panoramic window in the kitchen/dining room, that appears on both facades, allowing the view to continue unobstructed from the back to the front of the house.
